BCL must also be listed in Port Moresby !

BCL must become a people’s share like Volkswagen in Germany is the contents of a letter that Axel G. Sturm, spokesman of the European Shareholders of Bougainville Copper addressed to Peter Taylor, chairman of BCL. We claim for a POMSoX-listing of BCL because we want it to be easier for local people to buy the company’s shares and to take benefit of the financial success of mining in the area one day. It is unacceptable that so many people lost their money in the criminal U-vistract money-scheme operation of conman Noah Musingku. If all those people had bought shares of Bougainville Copper they had doubled their investment since, Mr Sturm said. There is no better way to participate for all people involved in the region than to buy the BCL-shares. Experts say BCL-shares might easily rise from AU$ 0,85 today up to AU$ 20 or more when the mine will be re-opened again. Bougainvilleans have to trust in their own country and in their own company said Mr Sturm. Only experienced partners like BCL and Rio Tinto are can guarantee best results for all – even in environmental affairs.

European Shareholders are mobilizing.

Earlier this week the European Shareholders of Bougainville Copper Ltd. appointed the former German journalist and PR-consultant Axel G. Sturm as their speaker. We are mobilizing for a better future of Bougainville and the Bougainvilleans, said Mr. Sturm. Only mining and the revenues from mining can help the island to overcome its actual misery and lead to a better future. New technologies as practised in Europe may also help to reduce and heal environmental damage caused by mining. All parties involved in the Bougainville Copper project have to get together and to solve the actual problems. It is not acceptable, said Mr. Sturm that the people of Bougainville are suffering while under their feet there lies one of the most important Copper- and Gold resources of the world.
